     Listen to others, respect others, and don’t impose your opinion as the only and best option.  It is possible that the other person’s idea might actually be better and if not, charity is often more important than “winning” or proving you were right.

Dear Friends in Christ,

     “There have been many saints who have gone before to guide us, but I like the ones who are simple, like St. Theresa of Lisieux, the Little Flower of Jesus.  I chose her as my namesake because she did ordinary things with extraordinary love.”  St. Mother Teresa

     I have a picture of this holy card of St. Theresa on my desk.  Simple innocence, purity, joy, true charity and surrender to God…what a gift for all of us!

Visiting Jesus

     Anytime you walk into a Catholic Church, you are walking directly into the presence of Jesus Christ, body and soul, humanity and divinity.  Regardless of how you feel or what you seem to experience, you will always walk out with grace, which will give you the wisdom to know what God wants and the strength to consistently go there.

    Every so often, I find it very therapeutic to stroll around a cemetery, reflecting on this all important fact of my immortality and the possibility of eternal life with God in heaven.
