“We have close to us an angelic spirit who never leaves us for an instant from the cradle to the grave, who guides and protects us like a friend or a brother.” St. Padre Pio
Our guardian angel does not take naps or even go to bed…24/7, all the time, totally focused on keeping us on track with God loving plan. What a gift!!
God bless,

Oh, how precious time is! Blessed are those who know how to make good use of it. Oh, if only all could understand how precious time is, undoubtedly everyone would do his best to spend it in a praiseworthy manner! ~Saint Padre Pio
It’s all about balance…and you need to continually sharpen the saw! Don’t feel bad about taking a nap, reading a good book, going for a jog, working in the garden, hitting a few golf balls…find something that helps your brain rest, and your family and friends will definitely benefit!
God bless,
Fr. Michael Sliney, LC

“Just going to church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.” GK Chesterton
A common complaint I hear from people on the streets are the “holier than thou Catholics who let you how devout they are and how often they attend Mass, but are often more prideful and hypocritical than your average secular person.” I am always happy to see full churches, rosary groups, long lines for Confession, etc…but we do all of this so we can be holier, kinder, and better reflect God’s love in our lives. In the words of St. John of the Cross, “At the end of our lives, we will be judged our love.”
God bless,
