Don’t give up on praying

Dear Friends, in Christ,

     “Prayer gives us strength for great ideals, for keeping up our faith, charity, purity, generosity; prayer gives us strength to rise up from indifference and guilt, if we have had the misfortune to give in to temptation and weakness. Prayer gives us light by which to see and to judge from God’s perspective and from eternity. That is why you must not give up on praying!” (Pope John Paul II)

    St. John Paul II spent so much time kneeling in prayer before Christ in the Blessed Sacrament…this was where he found his wisdom and his strength.  Make time for prayer!

Listening to God

    If you are going to have conversation with Christ in prayer, leave your phone, ipad and technology off and put away…and listen to the one who made and who loves you so much!
