You’re beautifully broken, Christ loves you in this spot, A little heartbroken? Trust more! No second thoughts!

Envy

Jettison jealousy…right away!                                                                      
Eliminate envy…why delay?                                                                              
Lethal leaches…leading hearts astray!                                                            
Sapping souls…exponential decay!                                                                     
Jesus, just Jesus…follow HIS way,                                                                           
Don’t descend…into Satan’s squeeze play!

Advent poem

Mary and Joseph were packing their bags,
Swaddling clothes for Jesus, garments without tags.
The three Kings were also pitching their tents,
The star led to twists and turn of events.
 
The world marched on…at a frenetic pace,
Just a few knew…of Our Saviour’s birthplace.
Too busy, too worried, too much in the race,
Too bad! They could have seen Christ, face to face!
 
Advent has arrived..take time to reflect!
Leave the holiday wheel…recollect!
Start wrapping your gift…the one he desires!
He just wants your love…adore and admire!

He is so REAL!

Invisible…but so REAL!
Trust your Faith…not what you FEEL!
He brings peace…not a raw deal,
Strength of will…like tungsten steel,
Healing…your Achille’s heel.
So slow down…get off life’s wheel,
Talk with Him…pray and kneel,
These words are truth…not a spiel!

Joe cool?

Jealousy?  Feeling mediocre?
Not famous or a power broker?
Just an average Joe, not so cool?
No Ivy League status as your “school”?
Please, wake up!! You are special indeed!
Crafted in God’s image..guaranteed!
Christ is your friend! What more do you need?
Focus on His will…follow his lead!
He loves you intensely…please believe!
Holiness matters…try to succeed!

Follow Christ’s paradigm!

Silently stressing?  Count your blessings!

Down in the dumps? Look for Christ’s fist pump!

Tired of the fight? Pray harder for light!

Pity party…”poor me”? Nobility!

Stuck in sin? Confession will help you win!

Wake up, it’s time!  Follow Christ’s paradigm!

Keep climbing!

Muddy inclines, slippery rocks,

Dehydration and sweat soaked socks!

Tenacious ticks…hovering hawks,

Far away…out in the boondocks!

 

Sometimes God challenges us…hard!

Surprising…catching us off guard.

Uphill climbs are His “calling card”!

His motive? Love!…don’t disregard!

The view? Wow! A picture postcard!

Happy home?

by

Prayerful parents…provide peace,

Carefully…correcting caprice,

Mom’s mettle?…Maker’s masterpiece!

Baby?…be-bopping berceuse!

“Pater’s” patience?…paramount piece!

Happy home? Recipe released!!

A leap of Faith

Take a leap of Faith…God’s in control!

Put your trust in Him…with heart and soul,

Jesus does not deceive…or cajole!

But when his plan begins…to unroll,

Don’t be surprised…when you hit potholes,

The cross of Christ…is our totem pole!

Embrace “your” cross…don’t look for loopholes,

Especially if heaven’s your goal!

Time to eat?…leave aside the phone!

“Family” dinners…not alone!

Questionable food?…please don’t groan!

Not listening?…get in the zone!

Friendliness!…not a heart of stone!

Offer to serve…some ice cream cones!
