Sharing Jesus with others

March 15, 2020 by Michael Sliney

“God has chosen you to make him known to others.” St. John Baptist De La Salle
Imagine where our Catholic Church would be if St. Andrew had not introduced his brother, St. Pater, to Jesus? Who have you brought closer to Jesus in your life?

“These are the days when the Christian is expected to praise every creed except his own.”

G.K. Chesterton
I still remember the words of St. John Paul II in Denver for World Youth Day, 1993.  “Be proud to be Catholic!”  We know our warts and weaknesses and the Church is always in need of reform, but the Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ himself (and twelve “imperfect” Apostles), with over 2000 years of tradition and so many saints and holy lay people who continue to change culture every day with their holiness and glow. And we have the incredible gift of grace through our 7 Sacraments and the help of our Blessed Mother to keep us on track!
