My mom told me, “Michael, you know that I have never heard your sister complain once.”(over 60 years in a wheel chair with rhematoid arthritis). I was with her and the family on vacation last summer on Lake Huron, and it felt like the good old days again when she was “Debbie, our big sister.” She was laughing, smiling, focusing the conversation on our interests…pretty amazing!
