At times, you may feel a desire to jump out, to look for another bowl…but in those moments, look into the eyes of Christ and ask him, “Lord, I know these are the souls that you want to love through me. Please help me to embrace all of them with a sincere love.”

In the obstacle course of life, you need to be humble enough to accept that you cannot scale every wall by yourself. Lean into Christ, seek out a solid spiritual director, surround yourself with Christ-centered friends…and you will find that there is no obstacle that cannot be overcome!

During my daily run, I pass the Rye cemetery every day…I glance at those old tomb stones and it reminds me of my own mortality and the need to be prepared for this final encounter with Our Lord…

One of the titles attributed to Our Blessed Mother is “Star of the Sea.” She showed us what it means to whole-heartedly conform your life and your will to the plan of God, and she is an incredible point of reference in our journey towards the heavenly port!
