Thy Kingdom Come!
Dear Friends, in Christ,
“And they need Jesus’ help to walk beside one another in trust, to accept one another each day, and daily to forgive one another. And this is important! To know how to forgive one another in families because we all make mistakes, all of us! Sometimes we do things which are not good and which harm others. It is important to have the courage to ask for forgiveness when we are at fault in the family.” Pope Francis
As my older brother Tom was teaching me how to play golf, I brought back the club without realizing that he was behind me, and cut open his lip with the face of the club. When he returned home with 7 stitches, he came up to me with a smile and said, “Don’t worry, Mike. I know you didn’t mean to do it, and besides, having a scar will make me look tougher.”
God bless,
Fr. Michael Sliney, LC
