“The sole thing I do, many times in the day, is to say to the Lord that I wish to live only to love Him and to please Him, that I desire all that He wishes in the way that He wills.” St. Maravillas of Jesus
“The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.” Robert Frost
(I came up with this little Rhyme…)Dorothy was so enjoying “Muchkin land” that she was tempted to stay. Then she remembered this was merely a stop on the way. Back to the path of God’s will, cost what it may!
“The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again.” – Charles Dickens From this photo, just my brother, Deacon Tom (to my immediate right) and my sister, Debbie, are still around…but I pray everyday for a family reunion in heaven, and this gives me great hope!
“The sun looks down on nothing half so good as a household laughing together over a meal.” – C. S. Lewis
We need to get back the tradition of family meals…laughter, heart felt sharing, bonding…and this give the parents an opportunity to take the pulse of each child and their spouse!
Taking the hill, one day at a time?
Working, playing hard…life’s paradigm?
But WHY is THIS our internal rhyme?
Ask the “WHY” before you start to climb!
Life has meaning…simple yet sublime,
Ponder it now, while still in your prime!
God carefully, purposely shaped our souls, our hearts and minds,
Give God glory, do His will, reflect His love…all the time!!
