“All those wasted and squandered years when I did nothing but go around looking inside myself until I ended up alone even though I was surrounded by people. But I paid attention only to what was happenstance about them – not their true selves.”
― Marta Oulie

WHO IS THE REGULAR CATHOLIC GUY FOR?
If you are the guy who goes to church on Sundays with his family and does not know a lot about your faith then you are in the right place. If you are a man that wants to just learn more about your faith you are also in the right place.
This is a blog and podcast for men that want to learn more about their faith and about being a Catholic man in today’s world. We cover things such as marriage, raising kids, prayer, what the Church teaches and lots of other guy topics. We frequently have guests on the podcast to share their knowledge and stories. Our goal is to help you to become a better Catholic man, husband and father.
Anger management…
“No matter how just your words may be, you ruin everything when you speak with anger.” St. John Chrysostom
Controlling your tongue
Faith…
Faith is a beam radiating from the face of God. St. John Eudes
Faith…
Marriage…
“The love of husband and wife is the force that welds society together. Men will take up arms and even sacrifice their lives for the sake of this love….when harmony prevails, the children are raised well, the household is kept in order, and neighbors, friends, and relatives praise the result. Great benefits, both of families and states, are thus produced. When it is otherwise, however, everything is thrown into confusion and turned upside-down.” St. John Chrysostom
The greatest gift you can give to your kids?
Help needed for our house renovation!
Thy Kingdom Come!
Dear Friends in Christ,
It has been a pleasure to serve all of you through my daily videos, reflections and poems. Your supportive comments and emails are very encouraging, and I am glad this service has been useful to you and your families.
Once again, I would like to make my annual request for help. I know that many of you have already been extremely generous in showing your financial support for our house renovation here in DC, so for those who have already given, thank you!! (I also ask that my friends from the NY Tri-state focus on supporting the padres in Rye, NY) Please consider being an ANGEL FOR A DAY, by using the link below to make a tax deductible donation*:

Thankfully, we have finished the first three phases of our house renovation which include a new and re-structured roof, a new chapel (pictured below), a new living room, dining area, conference room and youth team meeting area, a newly paved driveway, and the total transformation of the living area for the Regnum Christi Mission Corps. Phase 4, the FINAL PHASE of this effort, will focus on replacing all the bathrooms and laying down flooring on our ten bedroom wing that was built nearly 30 years ago.
Any support that you can give would be deeply appreciated, and I am, as always, very grateful for your generosity. Be assured of my prayers for you and your families!
